We registered a new joint prefix for the Selkirk breeding programme we had in mind, but Chris Thomas (the other half of the KRISKROS prefix) was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease and her subsequent move to Corfu meant I was left to develop the Selkirks under my own prefix. And I have to admit I got off to a pretty good start...
UK Imperial Grand Champion Wyrewood Conqueror (William)
William gained his CH title in three straight shows He then gained his GR CH title in 3 shows and his Imperial title at the Essex cat show in April 2010. He is the first Selkirk to achieve each of these titles. He also gained his UK title at the two Supreme shows in 2009 and 2010. Along the way, he has achieved several Best of Variety and 2 Overall best in Shows. He has the most laid back temperament and seems to thoroughly enjoy his show outings.
And now there is his nephew Wyrewood Crusader (Arthur)
Arthur has had a spectacular show career as a kitten, winning several Open Classes BOBs Best of Variety and (2) Overall Best in Shows. Some people think he will be even better than his uncle William but only time will tell.
